Dear Rye Hockey Sponsor,

Rye Garnets Ice Hockey Inc (RGIH Inc) exists to assist the hockey program with financial support; they also strive to promote good sportsmanship, high ideals of character and academic achievement.  Through these characteristics, RGIH Inc recognizes that the experience of participation in high school athletics teaches players valuable life lessons including teamwork, discipline, hard work, respect and community.

Last season we were able to maintain 3 levels of teams and carry 60 players, this year we anticipate the numbers to be even higher.  Our JV hockey program which was brought back to Rye City School District (RCSD) for our 2015-16 season and is still going strong.  Donations made to RGIH Inc go towards funding the difference between RCSD's ice hockey budget and the cost of the hockey programs at all levels.  This includes uniforms, player development, tournaments as well as additional coaching staff and cost of ice not covered by RCSD.  Rye‘s hockey program continues to thrive because of the generosity of its parents and the community.
